The Harbor of Refuge Light is a lighthouse built on the ocean end of the outer Delaware Breakwater at the mouth of the Delaware Bay, just off Cape Henlopen. It was built to function with the Delaware Breakwater East End Light in order to mark the National Harbor of Refuge.
Adam Brockett is a freelance photographer currently based in the Washington, DC area. His photography focuses primarily on coastal landscapes and architecture. When not taking pictures, Adam works as a neuroscientist exploring how experiences change the brain and behavior. After spending most of his life in the DC area, he is about to move to the New Hampshire Seacoast to begin his research lab at the University of New Hampshire.
