The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse is a historic lighthouse located in North Wildwood, New Jersey, situated on the southern shore of Hereford Inlet at the north end of Five Mile Beach. Its construction was completed and it became operational in 1874.

Doug is a freelance photographer and a lifelong resident of New Jersey. This location has afforded him a variety of subject matter to shoot from botanicals, sports, architecture, and especially beach and ocean images which he has been photographing for years.  Living in a coastal state, Doug has traveled to parts of New England and the mid-Atlantic capturing the changing ocean and all its beauty. With many years of shooting, Doug has developed a large portfolio of many beach scenes and historic locations featuring the ocean along the east coast. Doug's goal is to capture a mood, a feeling, and a memory to take away from that experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

All Giclee prints start out as photographs that I shoot. From there, I edit the photographs digitally, handcrafting the swirly whimsical styles by hand, using a pressure sensitive stylist. After the piece is completed, I print and hand make the frame the canvas is stretched over.

After studying under a master-craftsman, I purchased all of the printing and stretching equipment, to make all of my art by hand here in Key West.
